Within three years of purchasing the Anytime Fitness Master Franchise for Australia, the joint owners have sold 300 franchise territories and opened 130 clubs in the country.

The Anytime Fitness Australian Master Franchise is owned and operated by a brother and sister team, Justin McDonell and Jacinta McDonell-Jimenez.

McDonell-Jimenez said: “The Anytime Fitness business model offers an amazing balance of lifestyle and a rewarding business. Some of our franchise owners own as many a nine clubs and still enjoy a great personal lifestyle. This is almost impossible to achieve in other franchise businesses.

“We look for franchise owners who understand the importance of sales and marketing along with an exceptional passion to deliver a great member experience. Our most successful franchise owners focus on sales and marketing and hire a terrific club manager to produce an ideal club culture. Our clubs offer the members what they need – great equipment, personal attention, and convenient and affordable facilities, open anytime.”

Keen to build on their success the business partners are looking to expand further. McDonell-Jimenez added: “We are currently opening about eight to 10 clubs each month. So, it won’t be long before we have over 300 clubs open in Australia. We believe that we have a further 50-100 clubs that can potentially open, on top of the 300 territories already sold.”

John Kersh, VP of International Development for Anytime Fitness, said: “Justin and Jacinta, and the talented team of managers and franchise owners that they’ve assembled, deserve all the credit for their tremendous success. Without a doubt, they are our most successful international Master Franchise Owners, but what they’ve accomplished proves that the Anytime Fitness business model can work virtually anywhere on the planet.”

Anytime Fitness is a US-based fitness club franchise that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and provides members with a convenient and affordable fitness options in well-maintained facilities.
