Baskin-Robbins focuses on German expansion
Dunkin’ Brands Group plans to bring its colourful selection of Baskin-Robbins ice-cream cakes to Germany, with plans for more stores openings across Europe
The American based company expects to see 150 Dunkin Donuts shops within Germany within the next five years. Nigel Travis said: “We’re very excited about Europe. Europe is about to start recovering. Germany is a very strong coffee and bakery market.”
Travis continued: “It's the perfect time to get in here because after the recession, real estate is a bit easier to find than it has been. It’s a great time to find franchisees.”
The recruitment process to find franchise owners will focus on Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Munich.
