Launched in Florida, USA in 1985 Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is a sports themed restaurant and bar that has a family friendly focus. This mix of sports and family ensured that the first restaurant stood out among its competitors and quickly became popular with locals. Since then the company has built a franchise network that covers territories across the USA.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s believes that its combination of showing popular sporting fixtures in casual and friendly environment while serving good quality food will appeal to people in countries and territories throughout Europe and is currently looking for franchise partners to aid its European expansion.
As well as providing a relaxed and family focused environment in which visitors can watch their favourite sports, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s also offers a menu that features popular American-style foods and dishes that are exclusive to the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s brand, including its award-winning chicken wings that are available in 12 signature sauces.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is aware that in order for its concept to be successfully replicated in different countries and territories it needs to be able to adapt to different cultures and traditions. For this reason its menu and supply chain will be localised and in some markets it will remove items such as pork, beef or alcohol or highlights more chicken or sea food-based dishes depending on the specific location.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s franchise owners will be provided with full training and ongoing support from pre-launch through to when the business is fully operating. As part of its support programme the company has a global network or real estate, design and construction, and restaurant professionals who will work with head office to help develop each franchise owner’s market.
This is a management franchise opportunity and Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is looking for European partners to own single unit, regional and Master Franchises. All franchise partners will be required to employ staff and will need to be prepared to mentor, counsel, coach and generally support those who are not confident in their area of competence, building morale and personal esteem and generally encouraging others to give their best performance.
Candidates should also be able to remain confident when dealing with negative situations, convince others to have ideas and create new options, as well as encouraging and enthusing them to come up with imaginative solutions to difficult problems.
The cost of the franchise will depend on the franchise type, e.g. if it is a single unit or a Master Franchise, and the size of the territory. Generally a single unit business cost is US$35,000 per unit license fee, paid at the signing of the agreement, a 5.0 per cent royalty fee (based on net turnover), and a 0.5 per cent creative marketing fee. This 0.5 per cent creative marketing fee provides head office support in the creation of menu and marketing tools.
