As part of its ongoing global expansion strategy, Gap Inc has announced a franchise agreement to launch the Gap brand in South America. A USA-based company, Gap Inc has signed a franchise agreement with Komax, which gives the company exclusive rights to operate Gap stores in Chile. The first store is set to open in Santiago in September this year.
