Success for ex-forces under the IFA’s Operation Enduring Opportunity campaign

With their leadership skills and experience, ex-forces or veterans depending on where you are from, are seen by the franchise as ideal buyers or employees of franchise opportunities.

The International Franchise Association, an association with for over 825,000 franchise establishments, launched the campaign back in 2011 with the aim to bring 80,000 ex-forces and military partners into the franchise industry by 2014, either as franchise owners or employed.

Two years later the IFA’s campaign has exceeded its goal. There are more than 150,000 ex-forces veterans who have gained employment in the industry since 2011, according to a report by market-research firm Franchise Business Review.
