Papa John’s recruits shell franchisee to open up five UK outlets

American pizza chain Papa John’s has recruited a former shell franchisee as its newest franchisees with a new store in St Helens.

Former franchisee for Shell and husband and wife team Abhishek and Kaniva Sachdeva are now planning to open up four additional outlets across the North West over the next 18 months.

Papa John’s is one of the largest pizza companies in the world, with more than 280 franchise stores in the UK and plans to expand that even further.

Abhishek spoke about his Papa John’s franchise experience: “Setting up was made as straight forward as possible with help from Papa John’s staff and all the training provided was excellent. Our staff got a head start, accessing the company’s online learning system and this was followed up with 10 days in-store with a Papa John’s dedicated trainer. The company has a solid growth strategy and we are very much looking forward to being part of that expansion.”

Papa John’s has several franchise opportunities available, and has recently launched its 2015 incentive scheme which offers new franchises in the Midlands, the North West, the North East and Scotland the opportunity to benefit from discounted royalty fees, contribution towards marketing spend and free store equipment.
